Classwork, projects, tests, quizzes = 80%

Accelerated Reader = 10%

Homework = 10%

Late work policy is as follows:   Work should be turned in on the day that it is due.  Late work will only be accepted the day after it is due and will be penalized one letter grade.  After the second day, the work will not be accepted and it will be given a zero unless the student makes arrangements to stay after school to work on the assignment with the teacher or student mentor. 

Each and every day the homework is posted on the board, as a class, we write it in our assignment notebooks, and a Remind message is sent home.  Saying, "I forgot", is not an option.
