Math is something we practice each and every day.  We follow the Engage NY/Eureka Math curriculum.  It is challenging and encourages students to think more deeply about numbers and mathematical practices. 

You will find the list of topics we cover throughout the year below:

Module 1 – Sums and Differences to 10

Module 2 – Introduction to Place Value through Addition and Subtraction                                            Within 20

Module 3 – Ordering and Comparing Length Measurements as Numbers

Module 4 – Place Value, Comparison, Addition and Subtraction to 40

Module 5 – Identifying, Composing, and Partitioning Shapes

Module 6 – Place Value, Comparison, Addition and Subtraction to 100

What we’re doing in Math this week:

• Recognize and make use of part-whole relationships within tape diagrams when solving a variety of problem types.
• Write word problems of varied types.

Test on Lessons 20-22 on Friday, May 4th.
