Children should be reading for 20 minutes every day. Remember, to have a good reader they must read.

Social Studies/Science
 We have begun our Ss unit. We will be discussing and reading about  ties long ago and present times. We are comparing and contrasting  both. 
General Info-
Homework is sent home on Friday to be completed by the following Friday. I keep track of who brings in their homework. This will be 10 percent of your child's grade.  When math homework is done that goes along with our math series, please do 1 page per day that goes along with the lesson learned. If you have any question as to what is being taught in a lesson, you can ask me or youtube it. 

As our first week comes to a close, I am so proud of the growth of our students. Lets make this a great year!
